On the evening of October 20, 2025, Solana’s official account retweeted a tweet about its Chinese name, “Solala,” marking official recognition of the community-initiated Chinese name. On October 19th, user muper announced that he had won a prize in the Solana Chinese name campaign and pledged to donate the prize to the Chinese community. He explained that the name “Solala” was inspired by a post by the president of the Solana Foundation.
