Siqi wrote on social media: I have no idea what to do with this money, but I know I must not betray everyones trust.

After a brief thought, Siqi decided to sell 10% of his holdings (5% of the total supply) and donate all the proceeds to Hankinson Labs. The transaction raised $49,263 for the lab, and he promised that every remaining token sale would be announced 24 hours in advance to ensure transparency.

Over the next few hours, Siqi continued to interact with the community, answering questions, explaining where the donations went, and making promises for the next steps. He even launched a vote to decide whether to sell another 10% of his holdings to support research, and the final vote result was 65.7% of people asked him to sell. The enthusiasm of the community made him sigh: The magic of the Solana community is something I have never seen before!

Eventually, Siqi developed a long-term plan: to sell $1,000 worth of MIRA every 10 minutes to continue supporting the labs research.

This wave of kindness triggered by meme coins not only touched Siqis family, but also touched Dr. Hankinson. He expressed his gratitude to all supporters through a video: This generosity will have an immeasurable positive impact on our research and help more patients and families.

When Siqi initially launched the GoFundMe campaign, his goal was to raise an additional $200,000-300,000 for the lab. Thanks to the miracle of MIRA, the total donation is expected to exceed $1 million. And the meme coins in Siqis hands were worth up to $20 million. According to GMGN data, the market value of MIRA tokens has fallen back to $21 million.
