OpenSea is constantly evolving.

OpenSea Mobile App

With OS2, we have the opportunity to reimagine everything, including mobile devices.

We decided to build a new mobile app with the following goals: 1) create the most enjoyable trading experience and 2) imagine what trading would be like with the help of native AI.

On-chain transactions are the trend of the future, but they are still too complicated. OpenSea mobile makes it all seamless: all your wallets, blockchains, tokens, and NFTs are concentrated in one platform. There is no need to switch between accounts effortlessly, view part of your portfolio, or worry about which chain to switch to.

OpenSea Flagship Series

As the cultural home for web 3, we’re taking steps to help advance the art of building it.

Today, we’re launching the OpenSea Flagship Series, committing over $1 million to acquire historic NFTs and works by emerging artists.

Starting with CryptoPunk #5273 , we will first identify important works and then promote the works of emerging artists. Each collection will be accompanied by detailed information explaining why we think it is worth collecting, thereby providing attention to the creators.

Selections are made by a committee of OS staff and external digital art consultants, with integrity controls detailed in our Learning Center.

NOTE: I’m intentionally not on the committee, so no need to ask me what’s going to happen next! 🙂

Starting September 15th, 50% of all platform fees (1% for NFTs and 0.85% for tokens) will be used to support the program, and we will also launch the final bounty phase with $1 million in OP and ARB already in the treasury.

Current Voyage participants: Your XP will also be permanently stored in a new treasure chest, ranked 1-12, arriving on September 15th. This chest reflects your efforts over the past three months and, as mentioned above, has been reviewed by the Foundation.
