The specific process is as follows:

1. When an AI agent attempts to access paid services such as news, APIs, and data, the server will return an “HTTP 402 Payment Required” status code. In fact, an Accenture survey of financial institutions revealed that 87% of respondents identified “customer distrust of AI payment systems” as a core issue, and 78% expressed concern that “AI robots could make unauthorized payments or engage in fraud.”

The second key factor is the current state of enterprise infrastructure. Accenture data shows that 85% of financial institutions say their existing legacy systems are unable to adapt to the demands of large-scale intelligent payments.
