Plume Network , a full-stack public chain and ecosystem designed for real-world asset finance (RWAfi), officially launched its mainnet Plume Genesis today. Compared with the previous attempts of the crypto industry to focus on asset tokenization, Plume has gone a step further and created a complete infrastructure that supports the high composability of real assets and DeFi.

Plume Genesis integrated a number of institutional-level real-world assets (RWA) on the chain at its first launch, including Superstate, Blackstone, Invesco, etc. In the Alpha phase before the mainnet launch, more than $ 150 million of real-world asset funds have been used on the chain, covering a variety of asset categories, and attracted more than 200 projects to join the ecosystem.

The Plume ecosystem has brought together many native RWAfi protocols and top DeFi applications, such as Morpho, Curve, Orderly, Matrixdock, Lorenzo, Rooster, Solera, Mystic, etc., and gradually formed a financial infrastructure network covering modules such as lending, liquidity provision, and yield aggregation.

Plume is promoting the large-scale on-chain of real assets, with the goal of importing more than $ 4 billion in assets. Through Plume, real-world asset tokens can be seamlessly used in DeFi scenarios like native crypto assets, and users can flexibly operate high-yield real-world assets in familiar lending, market making, staking, and leverage strategies.

A typical example is Plumes flagship protocol Nest . The protocol allows users to freely pledge stablecoins to institutionally supported vaults to obtain audited, liquid global asset tokens. These RWA tokens have income attributes and can be used for DeFi lending, revolving lending and other operations to achieve on-chain wealth growth.

After Plume Genesis is launched, users can fully experience the following functional modules:

Plume Portal : A one-stop control center for discovering ecosystem DApps, viewing rewards, managing positions, and optimizing returns.

Income-generating RWAfi assets : covering U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, income-generating stablecoins, private credit funds, as well as alternative assets such as durian farms, cultural IP, GPUs, and mineral rights.

Royco Protocol : Liquidity incentive protocol, users can obtain higher returns and DApp incentives by injecting assets into the Royco treasury.

PLUME token function : It has been launched on the mainnet, supporting payment of gas fees, participation in staking, governance voting, asset mortgage and ecosystem access.

Cross-chain RWA revenue transfer : Based on Plume’s Skylink infrastructure, RWA revenue can flow between more than 20 chains.

Teddy Pornprinya, co-founder and chief business officer of Plume, said: Plume Genesis is a critical node for the scaled entry of real-world assets and institutions into the chain. As the global regulatory situation becomes clearer, institutions can access real, high-yield asset classes at scale for the first time in a compliant and secure manner.
