On the GENIUS bill recently passed by the Senate, Vance said, In this administration, we believe that stablecoins do not threaten the integrity of the dollar. On the contrary, we see them as a multiplier to enhance our economic strength.

U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds said he would vote in favor of the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act because Bitcoin has proven to be a store of value.

New York Mayor Eric Adams called for the abolition of the BitLicense encryption license system issued by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) and proposed the idea of issuing Bitcoin municipal bonds BitBond.

Bilal Bin Saqib, special assistant to the Pakistani prime minister on blockchain and cryptocurrency, said the Pakistani government will establish a strategic reserve of Bitcoin, which will be held permanently.

Donald Trumps two sons, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, said at the Bitcoin 2025 conference that the price of Bitcoin may exceed $170,000 by the end of 2026.

Miles Suter, head of Bitcoin products at Block, said in his speech that Block will launch Bitcoin payment functions for merchants using Square POS, and held a Guinness World Record challenge for the most Bitcoin Lightning Network payments in one day at the summit.

Blockstream co-founder and CEO Adam Back said, I think Bitcoin is still in its early stages, but more and more mainstream participants are beginning to get involved.
